- The Lucille Ball Little Theatre Board of Directors and Patrons
We welcome you to dive into the fantastical world of "Cats", the second longest-running show in Broadway history.
Directed by Helen Merrill with choreography by Tiffany Wakeley Heintzman & Holly Jones Weston and music & vocal direction by Charles & Marci Johnson and Anne Eklund; "Cats" tells of a particular tribe of felines (the Jellicle Tribe) who inhabit a junkyard and have come together for their annual Jellicle Ball where they will make what is known as "the Jellicle Choice" to decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer, where they will be reborn to a new Jellicle life.
Based on Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, by T.S. Eliot, Andrew Lloyd Webber's classic songs became an instant worldwide hit while smashing records and conquering the world with excitement, thrill, romance and intimacy as you enter the world of mysterious "Cats".

"Cats" is very different than anything ever done at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre in many ways, including the costuming demand to transform 29 actors into cats!
In an effort to cover the cost of the costumes, makeup and wigs we are asking the community to adopt a cat. This adoption is different than your standard pet adoption because instead of taking a furry new friend home to your family, you will be supporting a local actor, and in turn, local community theatre.
As a thank you to all who donate, each night after the production, we will invite our donors to join us on stage for the opportunity to have their picture taken with their adopted cat [in full costume and makeup] on our elaborate junkyard set.
There is no minimum donation required to adopt a cat. Any amount that you are willing and able to give is greatly appreciated. This also means that each cat can have more than one adopter. Just as we all have multiple family members including parents, children, grandparents, siblings, cousins, and spouses the cast of "Cats" at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre looks forward to have their own adopted family for this production.
Choose your adopted cat based on your favorite character in the show, or someone that you know in our production.
If you would like to contribute to the Lucille Ball Little Theatre's Annual Campaign, please call 716-483-1095 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and address, and an Annual Campaign Card and return envelope will be mailed to your address of choice.
