It's been almost 24 months since we were last able to build sets, rehearse scenes, and welcome audiences to see a play here at the Lucille Ball Little Theatre of Jamestown. The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted everyone everywhere, including our operations here in the Theatre. Today, I'm thrilled to be a part of bringing live theater back to this stage, and even more thrilled that you are here to enjoy it with us. Almost, Maine is a wonderful show that is set in a "normal" town filled with "normal" people living "normal" lives. On one particular night in winter, something magical and mysterious happens with the appearance of the Northern Lights over Almost. Some of its citizens will find new love, some will lose it, and others will have love forever redefined for them. Each of the vignettes you're about to watch takes place at about the same time, around 9PM, just as the Northern Lights are making their appearance. Each scene involves just two, in some cases three people, who will make you laugh, think, and feel along with them. I hope you enjoy their stories.
